how is the attach_to field used in the hip chat room notification api?

I'd like to know and see examples of how it's used

The attach_to property accepts a message id. So, if you were replying to a webhook, you can use that message's id as the attach_to property. The clients that support this, will make sure that the notification you send is attached to the message you're responding to.

I verified if I could attach to a previous notification and was confused by the id field in the notification payload

playing with the message api helped clear that out, thanks
