So when connecting to our HipChat server using the v4 client, it always signs in ok the first time, but if you sign out and sign back in it hangs on sign in with an animated HipChat logo.
This is also the case if you restart the client.
The only workaround is to delete all the settings from the appdata folder on the affected machine and then HipChat recreates them and logs in fine.
This is a serious bug that means we cannot upgrade our Windows machines to the latest client...please help.
Also note, this is on every Windows machine we have, across Windows 7/8/10
Please file a support ticket at support.atlassian.com so we can investigate and file a bug report if needed. It would be helpful if you could run through the steps under the 'Send Further Logs' section of HCPUB-25 and include the output from those steps, which helps us identify the issue quicker.
Additional information that would be useful are HipChat Server version, client version, frequency of issue, and reproduction steps.
