When I put my computer to sleep, when it wakes up, HipChat can't connect unless I quit and restart. Could you fix that? Thanks!
If you mean you have to quit and restart HipChat, see the question How do I make HipChat automatically reconnect after my computer resumes from standby? Every time I resume my computer, I must log out of hipchat and log back in. Also, how to have HipChat remember my login information? You're not the only one, and this isn't really an answer, i know.
Hi Tom Bellinson
most likely it is a problem in your operating system
what operating system do you have?
other programs worked without any problems?

Windows 7 Pro.
Also, no other applications are having a problem with reconnecting (including JIRA and Confluence) after sleep.

I have the same issue. It appears to have changed in the last couple of updates of the Windows client. Prior to that, I could dock/un-dock, change wired/wireless connections sans issues.
I don't logout, I right click on the tray icon and pick "quit". Starting it back up resolves the issue, so there is a workaround. Unfortunately, I usually don't realize that it is not connecting until I get a "sent you a message but you're offline" email.
I am running Win 7 Pro sp. 1
