What's wrong with my HipChat slash command response?

Hi,

This is the JSON I sent back when HipChat calls my slash-command endpoint:

{
"card": {
"style": "link",
"url": "http://logstash.srv.internal.mydomain.com",
"title":"LogStash",
"description": {
"format": "html",
"value": "Here is the link you requested..."
},
"icon": {
"url": "http://icons.iconarchive.com/icons/pelfusion/flat-file-type/64/log-icon.png"
}
},
"message_format": "html",
"message": "hello"
}

However, I only get the message ("hello") in the chat window, but not the card that is attached.

Any Ideas? I really don't see what I'm missing here...

You're missing an "id" property which is supposed to have a uuid style id.

Yes, that did the trick. Too bad the documentation doesn't mention which json attributes are required vs optional.

Sorry it wasn't clear. The API reference does state that the ID property is required: https://www.hipchat.com/docs/apiv2/method/send_room_notification

Entirely my fault it seems. I have one of those ultra-wide screens, and I totally missed that column on the right. Oops...

Hi Jeroen, are you sure you're using a HipChat App that supports cards? you need the latest version of Mac/Windows or Web. You can find download links for the latest versions here: https://atlassiandemo.hipchat.com/connect/beta

Yes, I'm using the latest version, and I'm also checking it in the web-version of HipChat.
