We only have 1 public IP and 443 is already used, How can i get Hipchat to work?

Hi,

I'm having trouble viewing chat's from IOS and Android and i presume it's down to not have port 443 forwarded to the HipChat Server. Is there a way around this? We only have one public IP address.

Hi Daniel,
try to configure a Proxy before the HipChat Server.

So the Proxy will accept the request from you clients and forward them to the HipChat Server.

If you use a Wildcard SSL or a Multidomain SSL certificate, you can handle several SSL Virtualhost

Greetings,
Oliver
