We switched from MS Teams to HipChat for our Video Conferencing because we are now using Jira etc ... I was not thrilled with the video quality. We have a 120/120 Fiber Line here but were a few quality issues. Audio seemed fine but sometimes the audio did not match up with the video of the person speaking.
Is this normal with HipChat?
You shouldn't face specific problems like the one you mention. It's worth checking a bit to see if all requirements are met (bandwidth is clearly met):
For example, check whether you have the UDP 10000 port open. If the UDP port is not open, the server will fallback to the TCP port, which is not ideal.
