Use API to Get Room Chat History

Hoping someone can assist me with what I am trying to do. I have a room where I am trying to export the chat history. I was able to find the below API command, but am not successful in getting it to run. Am I using the correct API, if so what should be entering for the "key" value?

/v2/room/{room_id_or_name}/extension/dialog/{key}

Hi Jamal,

If you are the group admin you can request for a room export on the export tab in admin dashboard where it will export all public and private room for you so there's no need to go through the API export.

As for the key, you'll have to generate an APIv2 token which you can do so at https://www.hipchat.com/account/api
