Stride announced to replace HipChat, will there be a charge?

Right now, for our company HipChat is provided as a bonus/courtesy for the increasingly costly JIRA Cloud subscription we have.

In the near or distant future, will Atlassian start to separately charge for something that has always been free, and for several years now, considered a "part of JIRA", even for loyal JIRA users?

We looked up the email address you use for Community on the HipChat system and it looks like you have Basic HipChat, which is free even without a JIRA subcription.
