Storing values with Botler Hipchat Bot

Hey there,

I'm fairly new to HipChat integrations. Is it possible to use Butler to store values? I'd like to be able to use slash commands to feed it a value so that others in the room can recall said value with another slash command. If it's possible, how is this done?

Hi Rob, Botler doesn't support this scenario (yet). If you're inclined, writing your own slash command is pretty straightforward: You can create a BYO add-on on the add-on integration page and run a small server (or a Lambda function on AWS) to handle the command and store the values.
