Currently, there's no way to restrict the addon to specific components of the StatusPage, but we are planning on spending some time on an updated revision soon that will include work around better filtering of the messages that the addon sends, which sounds like it might help your case!
It would would just be nice to be able to subscribe to certain components like you can do on StatusPage. While we may use a particular companies services, we do not necessarily use them all. Atlassian is a perfect example. We use very little cloud service (mostly self-hosted) so we don't want notices on every component.
It's just overload is you can't subscribe to specific components.
