Set retention policy for file attachments/uploads?

I know HipChat server allows you to configure a retention policy for chat history, but I have a few questions:

1) Does this policy include file attachments/uploads?

2) If #1 is false, is there some way we can configure this?

Looks like file attachments are stored on our server and it really doesn't make sense for us to keep stacking files on top of files long term. If possible, we'd like to do cycle out any attachments that are 6 months + old.

As long as you have a specific # of days set for history retention, files will be purged along with chat history and links. Unfortunately, file retention doesn't work with the "Store no history" or "Store last 75 messages" options.
