Set default notifications for HipChat

Is there a way to set email notifications (for messages) to be off by default?

 

I would like to have email notification for when you are idle to be off by default.

Hi there, Marc. By default, the email notifications check box will be enabled after the creation of the master account. To have it disabled after user creation might require us to dig into the codes. I'll try to see if it is possible to achieve.
