Every time I boot up my PC and open HipChat, there is one person who appears at the very top of the list instead of in alphabetical order. Everyone else is listed in alphabetical order.
If I open a conversation window with this person, then close the conversation window, it puts them into the correct list order.
The next time I boot up my machine, they are at the top of the list again.
Is there a way to fix this so it does not keep happening?
HipChat has not implement this feature request on HCPUB-363, but you can still sort users manually according to your preference.
May I suggest if you access your HipChat client on the web client and sort users from there?
Try refreshing the page if the sorting persist, then login to your desktop client again.
