Need help with exporting chat history

Hello,

I need help in exporting the chat history into pdf or to word document inorder to save the details for future purpose.The reason is the person whom i chat with will no longer be with the company sooner and i want to use the links /screenshots in the chat.if a person goes out of the company,the chat history will be archived.

I would like to use this option along with the other option of saving the chat of a person who is no longer with the company.

I'm using Hipchat for your information.

Happy to help. Can you please confirm if you are on HipChat Cloud or Server / Data Center? Depending on which platform you are on, please refer to the following section:

• Cloud: 
  • Rooms: Exporting chat history
  • 1-1 chat history: You need to get in touch with the HipChat Cloud Support team for assistance
• Server / Data Center:
  • Rooms & 1-1 chat history: Exporting and Importing your Hipchat Data

The default format of the chat export is in .json format. So, you might need to use a .json > .doc / .pdf convertor to achieve the required goal, for example - https://github.com/yogthos/json-to-pdf
