My first launch stops on stopping mysql or stopping network management. I'm using esxi 5.5.

Hi!

I'm trying to start HipChat server 1.0.8 on my esxi 5.5. And my startup process stops on stopping mysql or stopping network management stage.

Looks like something is wrong.

Can somebody help me?

Hi Alexander,

There's a race to start SQL service introduced in version 1.0.8, so far we've only seen this in a small fraction of AWS deploys but never on VMware.

Our testing shows this as fixed in the forthcoming v1.0.9 release. You can test a v1.0.9 preview image by running:

hipchat upgrade --channel hot --upgrade

..and then switching the update channel (source) back to beta or production:

hipchat upgrade --channel beta
