We have been experiencing crashes of the HipChat desktop app on Windows 7 enterprise. We will start the application, it will sign in and connect, then while sitting in the background, it will crash and display the "crash report" screen. It seems limited to the team in Chicago, and not impacting the team in Germany where the server is located. The problem seems more prominent when we are on a slower network connection, like a 4G mobile network VPN, but not always.
We've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the latest version of HipChat and tried adding the --disable-gpu parameter, but nothing seems to help.
HipChat app version: 4.28.1.1659 (Web Core 4.28.4) - However, multiple versions of the desktop app crash
