Hi,

The passwd command changes the admin password in the HipChat Server command line interface ONLY and does not actually change the user account password. Since you've already reset your owners account email, what you'll need to do is use the forgot password link (https://<FQDN>/forgot_password), add the new email address, then hit send. Once you receive the email, it'll have instructions to reset your user account password. Once that's done, you should be able to log in.

Cheers,

The thing is not sending any email to reset the password

Hi Ran,

It sounds like you'll need to reach out to HipChat Server support at support.atlassian.com so we can walk you through getting back into that acocunt.
