Is there a way to enable push notifications always?

According to the online documentation, push notifications are only sent to a device if HipChat is not active on another device. Is there a way to change this behaviour? If not, it would be very helpful if there was. My account is logged in 24/7 on my computer, but I am not always there...

You should receive push notifications whenever you're idle or offline on all of your other devices (this is what we mean by "not active", but perhaps we can word that more clearly). With default settings, desktop clients should go idle after 15 minutes. That setting is configurable down to 1 minute via the in-app preferences dialog. Once your client goes idle, you should get push notifications according to your settings on

I never get them, except maybe hours after it is sent

Stays very bad...I can't understand why a notification app is that bad in giving users work solely with the mobile app (android and IOS). Iphone only gives notifications if you're @mentioned and in the Android app I can't see users at all...only if I press the "+" buttonn
