Is there a way to arrange the people in the left column alphabetically?

Right now the people in my left column are in the order I contacted them. I would like to arrange them them alphabetically so it's easier to find them. Is there a way to do this?

This is currently not possible in any of our HipChat clients.

Though, we have an open feature request for it: HCPUB-363 - Order of conversations - Allow sorting of people and rooms (recency, alphabetical, etc).
