Is it possible to edit the new user entry message from the HipChat bot?

Specifically, the text:

Hi @username! Welcome to Hipchat. You can @-mention me by typing @HipChat and I'll tell you what HipChat can do!

Is it possible to edit this? We would like to link new members to HipChat to our code of conduct and onboarding materials.

I'm afraid it's not possible to edit the welcome message at this moment. Sorry.

 

Meantime, if you are familiar with API, I would suggest you check our API documentation which should be able to create an integration that will send a reminder message for new users at:
