I was able to connect to a Hipchat account, but I've since deactivated that HipChat account and created a new one. How do I get Jira to recognize the new one?

I was able to connect to a Hipchat account, but I've since deactivated that HipChat account and created a new one. How do I get Jira to recognize the new one?

When I go to Projects --> HipChat integration, the page says

JIRA is integrated with HipChat group (old Hipchat).

Set up additional rooms below.

To view and connect to your private rooms, confirm access to your HipChat account.

"

How do I undo this?

You should have a button to remove the integration with your HipChat group entirely in the upper right corner of the page you see on JIRA (under Gear Icon > Applications > HipChat)(see https://s3.amazonaws.com/uploads.hipchat.com/6/1712371/KVenSHfVUwvl96H/HipChat%20Integration%20-%20JIRA%202017-02-24%2016-54-45.png for a screenshot)

If that's not the case, you can also try going to hipchat.com/addons and try uninstalling the JIRA integration from the HipChat side.
