I want to extract a Hip Chat conversation and paste it into a program like WORD

I want to save a private conversation, but when I do a simple SelectAll, Copy, Paste, the resulting page is squeezed into narrow columns: unusable. Is there a way to format the copy or paste so that the results are as wide as the original window? Would be willing to use other receiving applications.

Hey Dennis!

Take a look at this link:

Paste plain text into Word

This will strip all formatting from the pasted text.  Alternatively, you could paste the conversation into a plain-text editor, (NotePad on Windows, TextEdit on Mac), then copy/paste that into Word, (note that on a Mac, you may have to switch TextEdit over to plain-text by going to Format -> Make Plain Text).
