How to set hipchat desktop client status from commandline?

I want to set my status (away, dnd, available) from the commandline (Linux/Bash in my case). How can I instruct the HipChat desktop client to change the status from "outside"?

Hi Sebastian,

You'll find what you need and more here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/HIPCHAT/Keyboard+shortcuts+and+slash+commands

Best regards, Damien.

Hello,

sorry perhaps my question is a bit unclear. I'm searching for a method to do this outside of the client on the commandline (shell, bash, cmd).

Oh okay, that was my bad  I'll look for this so

If you have time to read, i recommand you this:https://developer.atlassian.com/hipchat

You'll see the power of Rest HipChat
