Hi! Our team uses HipChat (free version) for internal chatting.
Previously, when inviting a new user to the team using the default invite link, the user was automatically added to a default room (with the same name as the team) upon connecting for the first time, and greeted with the welcome message ("Hi @new ! Welcome to Hipchat. You can @-mention me by typing @HipChat and I'll tell you what HipChat can do!").
We did some housekeeping and renamed that room to something else. Now, new users no longer join this room automatically upon connecting for the first time. We tried reverting the room name but alas, it doesn't seem to work. What's interesting is that if a new user manually joins the room, it still greets them with the welcome message...
How could we fix this? Having at least one default "autojoin" room for new users is very handy. I will extend my question a further bit and say that having multiple "autojoin" room would be even better!
