How do I make the HipChat 4 Linux client remember my username and password?

The HipChat 2 native client for Linux could remember login credentials, but the HipChat 4 client doesn't appear to have this feature.

I'm having the same problem (for windows, though). Please either let HipChat client remember our passwords or (as an alternative) let our password managers assist in filling the password in for us.

Thanks in advance

I can replicate this issue on Linux and Windows clients. I lug my laptop everywhere. The client logs out when I change networks. My customers and co-workers call me on my phone to tell me they sent a message on HipChat and that I am offline.
