we're testing HipChat integration with Jira, and - due to forgetfulness - we had two different team members create two different HipChat "groups" It would seem that they are now and forever stuck with that account/group association. we do not need two different groups, further, i need the email addresses used (which equate to HipChat accounts) to be associated with the same group.
So, ideally, we would be able to delete one of the groups that was created and add that user's account to the other group. But i would settle for being able to delete one of the accounts (actually delete, not disable) so that it can be recreated against the other group. As far as i can tell neither of these things are possible.
How can I as a user just completely leave a group and create my own?
Hello Sarah,
If you want to delete just an account, you might follow this link: https://www.hipchat.com/account/delete (as admin)
Now if you want to delete a specific group, you need to open a ticket if Atlassian.
If you need any further help, please let us know!
Kind regards,
Diego Gundel Machado
