Hi Kristin,
The option to load up on startup isn't in the Windows 4.0 release build, however we will be implementing that option back in an upcoming update. In the mean time, to get HipChat to start with Windows, you simply have to move the HipChat shortcut from the desktop into the Startup folder in the start menu. When Windows boots, it'll trigger HipChat to startup.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
-David

Atlassian (especially HipChat) has the worst record for making and keeping things working. Each time you release a software update you break something, things as bloody obvious as auto-login.
I'm going back to 2.2.1397 and looking for an alternative.
You folks should really be ashamed of the quality of your product.

Has this functionality been added back in now? i can get it to auto login on either mac or pc....which is quite a hindrance to getting people to use hip chat for us....
