I'm running an on-premise install of hipchat and am trying to find logs that will show me the IP address and username pertaining to login events (logon, failure, logoff). So far, I've located the crowd log at /var/log/hipchat/atlassian-crowd.log but it only contains username information (nothing about client IPs) and has a bunch of asian language characters in-between brackets I can't decipher. Can anyone point me to documentation on how to enable IP data in the logs?
* I suppose this question pertains to crowd but since I only installed hipchat and I don't want to break anything with the crowd config if I can avoid it - figured I'd gear my question in the hipchat room.
