Sometime recently (HipChat v4.27.1658) stopped staying logged in when my laptop goes to sleep. In addition, when Windows is restarted, HipChat starts up but always requires me to log in. How do I maintain logged in status (at least for a few days!)?

It sounds like you're encountering some unexpected behavior here. Unless you are manually logging out (via the option under the profile dropdown in the upper right), HipChat should remember your login information and automatically connect when the app starts. If that's not the case, please contact us by going to https://support.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/32 so we can collect some additional details and figure out what's going on.
