HipChat INSIDE of Confluence

I am quite new to the Confluence world. I was looking for an instant messaging add-on inside of my confluence space - and came across HipChat. I activated the add-on, and even the integration, but when I am in my Confluence space - I don't see the ability to chat right there.

Did I get this wrong - can you only use HipChat by logging into a seperate website?

In fact the integration doesn't allow to chat directly in Confluence. Rather you can know in Confluence if someone is online. In the Hipchat rooms you can receive notifications from Confluence.

To connect to Hipchat you can log in to the Hipchat website but you also have the ability to download a desktop app (or an app on your smartphone) which is quite convenient to quickly launch conversations.

THANK YOU Nicolas for saving me alot of frustration. Appreciate!
