Is it possible to integrate HipChat with a locally installed version of GITHUB? There is a GITHUB plugin, but it seems to go directly to www.github.com. How can I configure the integration to go to our local install - https://github.localinstall.com
We do have an open suggestion for that https://help.hipchat.com/forums/138883-suggestions-ideas/suggestions/6547699-github-integration-needs-to-work-with-our-github-e I'm not sure about the plans to implement it, but would suggest you to upvote the suggestion to help foster interest.
The integration seems to currently not work at all. At least not for my attempt to connect a github enterprise org with a hipchat.com room. Could add/configure the integration with no indication that it wasn't happy, but it then proceeded to utterly ignore github. I removed the integration and added the old github-based webhook, and that works as advertised. This integration seems to be very poorly supported and that's hugely disappointing, since both Atlassian AND github are recommending it in favor of the old webhook.
I'm the developer of the Github/HC integration. I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time with it. Can you help me debug the issue? I don't have access to a GHE instance... and I support this add-on as part of my 20% time at Atlassian. I'm guessing you've ruled out any potential firewall issues?
