Hip Chat - Away from machine

If I have my machine shutdown and someone sends a message to me via hip-chat, is there any way that I can be alerted of this the next time that I boot my machine? Thank you.

Hi there,

When you recieve offline messages, an email is sent to your mail account that was set up on HipChat.

Also, you can have HipChat clients on Android or IOS.

Does this apply to private rooms that I am a member of as well?

Yes, just make sure you have your notifications setup per http://help.hipchat.com/knowledgebase/articles/64430-how-do-notifications-work- and you should be all set.
