LS: I have followed all settings in this article. on both the HipChat app and under General setting on my Ios phone. I am allowing fore all push notifications, etc. Never the less, I am not able to hear a sound or see a pop-up menu appear. Neither do my colleagues in the office with their Ios or Android devices.
