Group retrieval fails while AD Integration with Hipchat user

We are trying AD Integration with the Hipchat server.We find a problem here that AD group sync is not happening.When I add a user directly under path of OU it Works but group(security group or distribution list) in same OU wont sync.Hence users who are member of the group(members are from different OU's) mentioned wont be able to login.

Group filtering has literally no effect on users in HipChat Server. If you need to limit users synced from LDAP/AD, use Base DN or User Object filtering based on a common branch or user attribute.
