Does Confluence hyperlinking support .llc TLD (Top Level Domain)?

Dylan Cornelius February 13, 2021

I am attempting to create a hyperlink for a .llc domain, and the pop-up won't close and save it when I hit the 'Enter' key.

This feature works fine with .net and .com domains, so I suspect the feature is intentionally disabling the feature for .llc, with a prior programming assumption that .llc does not represent a 'real' domain.

Does Confluence support hyperlinks to .llc domains, or is the problem presumed to be somewhere else in my configuration?

Hi Dylan and Welcome,

It seems to be an intended limitation since I can just type google.com<ENTER> to create a link but the same thing doesn't work if I use facebook.llc<ENTER> or www.facebook.llc<ENTER>

However typing https://www.facebook.llc will create the link.

Regards
