Do Hipchat Cloud -> Data Center migrated rooms keep IDs?

Folks,

In discovery for a hipchat cloud -> data center migration and would like to know - post-migration, will the rooms retain their pre-migration ID numbers?

(End users would like to minimize having to rebuild all integrations.)

Hi Zans,

I'm afraid the rooms will not retain their pre-migration ID numbers, with a migration from Hipchat Cloud to Hipchat Data Center.
The import process will remap the rooms and users id's.

Thats said, please be aware, the export, available under the hipchat.com Data Export tab is, not compatible with Hipchat Sever/Hipchat Data Center.
A compatible export can only be generated by the Hipchat Cloud Support team.

Note:
Although, we successfully migrated small sets of data from Hipchat Cloud to Hipchat Data Center, we highly recommend to run some import tests first.
(the migrate process from Hipchat Cloud was originally created for Hipchat Server)
