Deleting Personal Chats

Hi

We are moving of HipChat and we would like to delete some information before we export the rest we are going to store.

We have rooms, which we would like to keep all the data relating to these, however, we want to delete the private/personal chats (1-to-1) chats before we export.  Is there a way we can delete just the personal chats.  We would like to do this in bulk.  We are using a on Site Server.

Hi, Gareth.

Rather than deleting the information prior to the export, I would suggest you to just exclude the 1-1 conversation from the full export which can be generated from the web interface according to the Exporting and Importing your Hipchat Data page. For example:
