Current users and LDAP

Hi,

We already have a HipChat Server installation. What I want to know is if I configure it to use our Active Directory for authentication, will it be smart enough to link the users already setup in the internal DB with the users in our AD?

Hi Nav,

It depends. If your user from your internal DB has the same e-mail as your user from your AD, in theory, it should work. If not, it won't work, they will be different users.
If you don't have this user in your AD side, you must have it, to do this.

All the users setup so far are with the same e-mail address as their AD account - so I'll give this a go.
