Channel notifications in Slack

Hi,

With Hipchat we used Room Notifications https://confluence.atlassian.com/get-started-with-hipchat/set-notifications-per-room-854033530.html so that when something happens in a project we see it in the room.

I've exported my Hipchat to Slack and so far so good. But how can I connect Jira to a slack channel so that I see the events as they happen as I did in Hipchat?

Hi Nagila, 

I hope you see this question even though this topic is older.

We use the JIRA integration in Slack and added some webhooks in JIRA which inform us about new incidents in our ServiceDesk. These information messages are standard and look all the same. Is there any chance to customize these messages, add additional info such as which organisation the customer belongs to who created the new incident?
