I just set up a HipChat AMI on AWS and everything is working fine in the web GUI. I can connect over SSL to the correct hostname, add external directories, configure SAML, ect. It all works correctly.
However, I cannot connect via any application. The webapp fails to load. Same with any of the desktop apps.
All I get is a "We timed out while loading HipChat" error with the option to reload. However, that does not work.
Any help would be great!
This behaviour looks very similar to the one described in our KB article 'HipChat clients unable to connect to HipChat Server: Couldn't load HipChat'
Could you have a look ?
It is quite possible the FQDN (full qualified domain) is not set correctly in one or more of the config files.
