Can guests be added to private rooms?

I'm trying to decide whether HipChat is good for my specific use-case.

If a guest joins a public chat room via a URL, can I then invite them to a private chat room?

Hi Maggie, 

Guest users can also be added to private rooms once they are invited and have the room's URL.

The process to enable guest access in private rooms is the same from public rooms. Click on the room settings and click on "Enable guest access".
