Can I hide a user from the list of users so only the admin can see the full list ?

I wish to add a new user to HipChat but I only want the new user to show up on my list of users (administrator list) not for all users to see -  is this possible ?

Hi Rich,

While admirably nefarious, this is not possible with a persistent chat login.

The best way to silently monitor room chats is by registering a webhook and having a web endpoint inspect chat content.
