Away status bug - it matches my idle time preference

If I am idle for 5 minutes, my HipChat status changes to Away even if I have preferences set for a longer duration. In fact, if my Idle Time preference is set to 30 minutes, my Away status displays "Away 30m" after 5 minutes of actual idle time. If I set my preference to 60 minutes, it displays "Away 60m." I'm running the desktop version on a Mac, as does the rest of my team, but I'm the only one who appears to take naps all day. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I've got the HipChat 3.3.6 version, on a Mac with OS X 10.11.1 (El Capitan)
