I am trying to add users as an admin to Hip Chat. However, I get the message that 'This email address is claimed by a user in a different HipChat group.' This has happened before, but I can not remember how to get the originator of the first account to delete or release them. Originally, I had the users in question to try and delete the account, but that is not working. I am trying to get them to a specific group, but to do so, I have to get them deleted out of the other one already in place. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!
This happens because the user who has the same email address is deactivated in the instance (not deleted) hence it isn't possible to add another user with the same email address.
