recently I have a lot of trouble when sharing only a single application using the desktop client.
System: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
HipChat desktop application on a self-hosted server
Description:
In 1v1 calls, when I try to share a single application (usually Firefox but problem also happened with Chrome, so it's probably not related to the chosen app), screen sharing fails in ~80% of cases. Instead of sharing the screen, the other party only sees a black video and my preview window shows only my profil pick. When it fails once it always fails in the same call, but sometimes restarting the call and sharing again works.
Sharing my whole screen works but is not that great with multiple screens.
I have configured multiple virtual desktops, which may or may not be related to the problem.
Anyone having similar problems/knowing a fix? Would be great :)
