Any plans on providing a socket.io based HipChat React Component?

I would like to be able to incorporate a chat component into my React web-app to allow a chat session using socket.io. The back-end is Node and the db is Mongo and I like socket.io (but am open to alternatives you may offer)

Thanks

Ed

We don't currently have any plans to offer HipChat as an embeddable component. Our main focus is on providing a full native and web client experience. That said, we have heard of other customers having some success embedding the guest-access UI into their sites as a simple iframe (see https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/HIPCHAT/Guest+access for information on how to enable guest access).
