You described how I can connect HipChat Server with JIRA (Server), but how is this done with HipChat Cloud and JIRA (Server)?

Hi Christina,

you can definitely connect HipChat Cloud to JIRA Server.

1. Log in as a JIRA administrator or a Project Administrator.
   1. As a JIRA administrator go to >Applications and chose HipChat under Integrations
   2. As a project administrator go to the  Project Settings > HipChat integration.
2. Select Connect HipChat. By default it will connect to HipChat Cloud. There is an option to connect to HipChat Server but in your case default option works.
3. Follow the instructions to link JIRA to your HipChat site.
