About Return Bot Message Customize

Dear All

I have built a rest api server that can handle commands in hipchat.

I want to use the table tag in the hipchat message and show it in the hipchat window, but the border / style setting is not applied. It is displayed as a table without border.

Can I apply table border?

ex) table border not applied (border='1')

"message":"<table border='1'><tr><td>test</td><td>test2></tr><tr><td>test</td><td>test2></tr></table>"

There is a website titled Integrating K2 with Atlassian HipChat that may provide some clues on how to accomplish this.

Here is a snippet of their code where they used borders:

 //Form the HTML of Notification with param values
htmlMessage = "<table border='1' style='border-style: solid; border-width: thin; width: 50%; background-color: greenyellow'><tr><td style='width: 7%'>" +
"<img src='link' height='40px' width='50px' /></td>" +
"<td style='width: 90%'>" +
 "<span id='spnMessage' style='font-family: Calibri'>Hey " + UserName + "!! A Leave Approval Request With Request ID : <b>" +
 RequestID + "</b> has been Submitted by <b>" + Originator + "</b> on <b>" + SubmittedDate + "</b> and is pending for your Approval. Please Act upon!!</span>" +

Take a look at the website I linked and let me know if that helps.

Dear Mr. Branden McElveen

Thank you for your kind reply.

The message displays the html border and style tags.
By the way, when displayed on hipchat, it is not displayed except the table, td, and tr tags.
(border, style tag is missing in the response contents of http-bind)

Even if I put your answer in the message, it does not display properly. (border, style not display)

What should I do?..

Best Regards.
