HipChat DataCenter OVA Edited

What ever happened to a good ol' complete deployment in an OVA? The fact that the HipChat DataCenter OVA deplys a VM running all the required components but according to the Documentation it requires seperate servers, seems like a waste of time and defeats the purpose of an OVA.

We are a big shop that uses the Atlassian suite but have to say this HipChat release is the bottom of the barrel.

With that said is it possible to use the Postgres and Redis installations that already come on the OVA for a deployment instead of using additional external services?

Hi, Nathan. HipChat Data Center focuses on high availability and clustering to ensure that users can fully maximize their own resources and scale according to their needs. While the external components are required as mentioned Configuration requirements for HipChat Data Center deployment, did you happen to run into any issues deploying it on your end, especially with the setup of Redis, PostgreSQL, or NFS?
