Is there any way to ignore some files while merging branches ??

I don't want some files to add or replaced while merging with another branch !!

Is there any way?

Hello @Niket Chandrawanshi,

The short answer is no, Git generally isn't designed for that.

The long version is that you can configure Git to behave like you described in some cases but not in all of them. And what is more important in the context of this thread, you can't configure it in Bitbucket as it doesn't provide a way to tweak required Git configuration parameters.
